You can come into our Petone store at anytime and create your own jewellery with our help! Bookings are strongly recommended, and can be required over busy times over the weekend and in holiday seasons.
Once you’ve decided what you would like to make on of our staff can talk you through the process of how to choose your beads and lay out your design on a beading board. You will then thread your design, we will measure it, and then we will finish it off for you.

It completely depends on what you would like to make, which beads you choose, and what kind of budget you have. Everything you make has a base cost to cover our labour and the basic materials. The beads you have chosen then get added on to this cost to make the final total. You could make a bracelet from $6.50, and a necklace from $12 depending on which beads you choose.
All of our beads are individually labelled with their prices, and our staff can offer advice on how to cater towards your budget.

We are happy to accommodate children and adults of all ages and abilities. Children under the age of 5 will need to be actively supervised by a caregiver, and we can direct you towards using bigger beads with bigger holes to make it easier for younger kids to thread their designs.
You are also never too old to come and be creative!

We are firm believers in letting children choose whatever beads they might like, and have a huge range of colours, sizes, and shapes to choose from including glow in the dark beads, animals, dinosaurs, space themed beads, sports themed beads, and more!
We have lots of boys, teens, and men come in and create their own jewellery, or if they would prefer to make a keychain or bookmark instead then that’s cool too.

We recommend that you make a booking with us at least 48 hours before you are planning on coming in, as we can be very busy especially during the weekend. Bookings are often required for large groups in particular.

Please check our current opening hours to ensure that your booking request is for an appropriate time. The latest starting time for our sessions is one hour before we close (subject to scheduling), but we recommend allowing 1.5 hours. There may be a time limit on how long your beading session can be if you book in for a day in which we are busy. You will always have your table for at least 1.5 hours, and we will advise you on the day of any further time restraints. Please note that our hours can change on public holidays.
Filling out this form sends a request to our in store team, who will then get in touch with you asap within our opening hours to confirm or adjust the details of your booking. Please note that if your request is sent through after 5pm we will confirm your booking the following morning. Next-day bookings are subject to availability and are not finalised until you have heard back from our team.
