Create your own candles at this Pink Ribbon appeal event, raising money for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research on breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in New Zealand women. 1 in 10 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime, and more than 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year. Proceeds from this class will be donated by Village Beads and Starlit & Waxy Candles.
At this special event, create two candles with Moi from Starlit & Waxy Candles. In this beginner friendly session you will get to create two soy candles, one in a vintage teacup and one in a tin.
Create your candles by choosing between six different fragrances, then decorate your candles with themed wax shapes, bio-glitter, crystals, and dried roses. Enjoy light snacks and refreshments as the class progresses.
This class is suitable for people aged 14+, as it deals with hot wax. Bookings are required in advance.
